Solutions Designer

Tasks and duties

• Developing proofs-of-concept to validate the feasibility of proposed solutions.
• Identifying issues and presenting alternatives to alleviate or resolve problems.
• Producing detailed component specifications and translating these into detailed designs for implementation.
• Leading technical analysis, implementation and deployment.
• Creating detailed software designs and implementing and/or maintaining code.
• Assisting Software Designers and Implementers in creating detailed software design specifications.
• Designing data assets and ensuring they meet the needs of customers and the business.
• Liaising with data users across the business to understand their data needs.
• Working with data engineers to implement, test and deploy designs.
