Entry requirements

The following is required for entry into the Masters of Social Work (Professional Qualifying):

  • AQF level 7 undergraduate degree in a discipline other than social work, including 1 year of full-time study (or equivalent) in any social science discipline; OR
  • AQF level 7 undergraduate degree in health, allied health, or physical science, and completion of 2 pre-requisite units prior to commencing the Master of Social Work (Professional Qualifying); AND
  • Satisfy the requirements for the University's English Language Requirements for Admission Rule (found on the UNE website)
