Recognition

This course is recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA). Graduates may also be eligible for teacher accreditation recognition via the relevant state regulatory authority.

Entry requirements

Completion of Year 12 or equivalent with a minimum ATAR of 60; OR
Successful completion of a VET qualification at Diploma level or higher; OR
Successful completion (or partial completion) of a higher education qualification; OR
Be over 21 years of age and provide a written statement explaining how your work and life experience will help you succeed in your studies

In addition, you must participate in an informal interview AND submit a 500-word statement outlining your reasons for wanting to become an early childhood teacher.
